So interesting subject

My favourite subject of this semester is probably Biogeography, and I have mencioned it previously, on the post of "My last weekend". I don't came so much to classes on this semester because I'm fall ill, but the subject I most like to study is this one, Bio. The teacher is Víctor Quintanilla, an pernickety and funny man <3. We are just four persons on the class, and that is great, because the teacher answer us any questions, by trivial may those be. I have the classes divided on the thursdays and fridays by the afternoon, and for just 1 hour and half, a really relaxed timetable. This lets me stay paying attention by all the class, not getting bored thinking about the time left.
The subject is really interesting because we learn about the biomas, the scientific name of the threes, how and why those are there, and of course, the human factor. We learn to discern the species which are introduced into our country, the dissapearance of other ones that are natives, and the possibles "why". This class doesn't deal so much about the fauna, is more concentrated on the plants life, but obviously is mentioned for make us an idea of the diversity altogether.
The pic below is of professor Quintanilla, in our last terrain trip.
The classmates of my generation will have this subject the next semester. So guys, I hope you enjoyed it!
Postdate to teacher Victor: if you see this one day, don't get angry <3

Hobbie Bobby

Hi there! How are you, people? Hope fine :) Today I will talk to you  about the numer one of my hobbies, and it is... (tutututúm): my bike. I started to ride on bike really recently, about 2014. The little story of how it started commes like that:
When I was a child (4 or 5 years, maybe) I had one bike with training wheels, but didn't pass so much time for his break down (I think I could played with it about two months). Then, my grandpas never sold me one bike again and I suffered a lot for that jajajja With the pass of years, I never learnt to ride on bike without training wheels, I remember that my cousin Daniel used to lent me his bike, but I was up like two seconds and couldn't start to pedal. Anyway, trying was funny. When I was 17 years old, I wanted to make a gift to myself, so I bought a bike on San Diego. I wanted it on part because I always was out of the house and taking and waiting lot of buses and subways, and used to get me bored; and by the other way was the dessires to make a constant physical activity and could release energies. As I didn't know how to ride on bike, but I had one and wanted it like my formal way to translate me, I started to practice and in a few days I could drive from Av. Matta to Quilin subway's station.  My life changed a lot, I felt the need of take my bike all days and get outside, and was like that. Even I lost like 3 kilograms in one month jajjaj
Now the experience has given me more security over the bike than 2 years ago. I really love to ride on it, it's like a big moment of freedom and relax. I had other hobbies too, like draw and sing, but I think this is the more I practice.

The photo below is from the last summer, driving by the Quintero's beachfront at night.

A famous chilean

Hi people, I want to talk you about a chilean that I really like. His name is Patricio Guzman, a filmmaker that is very recognized at international level. He had made beautiful documentarys about the Dictatorship of Chile, and wons important awards because of those, like the Silver Bear award on Berlin in 2015 (with his documentary "El Botón de Nácar"). I like his work, because I think he express very profound feelings, such social as about himself. The way to describe the historic events makes me feel a deep nostalgia and melancholy, although I didn't live them. His way to talk his very relax and serious, which could make feel some people that the film goes really slow. For me, isn't it.
The life of this man. He was born on 1941, in Santiago de Chile, was an student in the Instituto Nacional. After that, he gots into the Instituto Pedagógico of the Universidad de Chile, to study History & Geography and Filosophy, but he didn't finish any of those careers. He got cinema studies on Chile and Madrid. On 1973 he was arrested and carried to the Estadio Nacional, where he satyed for two weeks. After it, he leaved to the exile, and could work out there. On Cuba, he makes the famous trilogy of La batalla de Chile (1973-1976): La insurrección de la burguesía 1975; El golpe de estado 1976; El poder popular 1979.
If I could talk with him, I think that I probably just listen to him. Maybe the questions will comes to me into the same conversation, but now, I dont know what I could say.

Nice day, nice girls

I think it was on the 2013, I cant remember well the year jajja Well, my family and I had planned a travel to Republica Dominicana on September, for the 18's week.My group of friends at school knew that, and wished me the best for this trip. When the time for this travel was like three days away, the birthday of one of my friends was closed, and we organized a secret/surprise celebration on her house for the previous day of her birth. When we arrived on her house, all my friends told "shhhh...we need to be on silence, she didnt know that we are here", so I stay quite same as they. I wanted to go to the bathroom first, and when I went out, all was on silence, and I went into the living room because thay was there. When I opened the door, those womans jumped over me and told me "Surpriseeee!!!!". I didn't knew what was going on, but when I saw rhe wall, there was a big paper wich says "Nice trip, Fran, we love you so much", and it had a few draws of palm trees, a sun, and the beauty one was the draw of the five of us, all together. My friends bought some things to eat (and for drink, of course jajaja) so we stayed there and passed a nice time. If I remember it well,  after this we went outside to a party. So...the surprise was for me, and it was a big trap jajja Those times and those girls are things that I remember with so much affection.

My last weekend

The last and long weekend was like this: the friday I spent my time with Mau (my classmate, you know him) like two very lazzy humans, sprawleds in the house, just talking. The next day, on saturday, I went to buy a gift for my cousin because was her birthday. She dont eat food with gluten (but she isnt celiac), so I bought her a bottle of lemon and ginger juice, and a box of corn flakes cereal. She likes it very much, and I hope that the baby (she's pregnant) likes it too. So I spent the afternoon with family, eating some ice cream and sharing lot of laughs (I have a joker family). By the 6 pm, I met with Mau and we took the "teatime" together. After that we went to the bus terminal, because he will go to Concepción. It was a nice time for me. The sunday I met with a friend that I didnt had seen for a long time. We went to drive on  bike and talked about our actual lifes jajajja he always was a funny guy, and that day I almost threw him of his bike (by accident, of course). He put a scared face, and we laugh a lot about it, even later when we remembered it. Was great to saw us. The Monday I went to my grandmother's house, and we organized mountains of clothes that we will sell the next sunday in the Plaza Almagro. I put a cd of "De Gardel a Piazzolla", amd at the meanwhile we was seeing the clothes, we danced a little bit of tango (almost tried it). I love to go to her house, makes me feel relax. And the last day was full of university's sudy. I was preparing some studies the other days, but this one day was really JUST study. But it wasnt bored, because was my favourite subject: Biogeography <3.

A book

Today I´ll write about a book that I could recommend. The book is called The country of last things. This book was written by Paul Auster, who is american guy. I knew this book because a partner of class, Mauricio Arenas, had it, and he wanted to share it with me, like other books he have. I really liked this book, because talks about a city on ruins, where the protagonist (Anna Blume) had to face lot of material obstacles, conflicts with other persons, and be exposed to danger, but the most relevant for me is all the controversial that she could  experiment inside of her by all the travel. As we know since we are childs (because of Language and Communication class subject)   "every travel brings and means an inside travel", and I think you could recognize by yourselfs and your owns ways of life that it's true.
I like the writing way of Paul Auster, I think he express profound things with simple phrases. And simple doesn´t mean easy.
Left here is the cover of the original book, and the man at the right is Paul. I hope you could enjoy if you read this book eventually.

Quisco's post

Hi geos! I want to tell you about the great holidays when I was a child. Great part of the holidays of my childhood I was on the Quisco. I came there with my cousins, uncles, aunts, and, of course, my grandfathers. We used to go in a van, that we rent specially for those ocations, and came to pick up us house to house. It was really funny, and a chaos. When all of us was ready on the van, we start the travel, singing, listening some music on the "new" discman of one cousin, and doing lot of things for pass the travel. Being there, in this big and red house (we rent always the same one),  I was the most happy child in the world (I remember it like that).
the beach (water and sand) was part of all those days, so I preffered to tell u about some things that make special this holidays.  Some kind of things that I used to do with my cousins, was play to the restaurant with snacks (we simulate, for example, that the Duetto's cookies are the finest food of our luxury place), play to the Enchanted House (the house had beds of two levels, so we put bed clothes over the up level and this covered the down level, making a kind of "dark state", where one person inside makes of the magician with a football's ball, and other ones be down the bed puting is arms into the dark state, scaring the victims jajajajj); and, for mention one third stuff, we used to go to the craft fair, just with the purpose to buy some joke objects. One joke object that we bought every holiday was a little toilet that cames with a synthetic paste, and when you push it with your fingers sounds like a flatulence. Yes, very funny.

See you!

A website

Hi geopeople, today the subject is "a website I like". Well, the website that I used to visit almost all days is Youtube. This page allows to people share and upload videos of many kind of thems.  I like this because have things of any topic you wanted to find; is infinite: you can find movies, music, audiobooks, people on talent's shows, social movements, learn a new idiom, political, cience, culture, and a reeeeally long "etc.".
I think I used this website since I have 11 years old, or less, but I didn't used it so much over those years.
The last uses I have been giving to this website is for watch movies. The last weeks I've seen "Los amantes del círculo polar". "La soledad de los números primos", "La elegancia del erizo", "Persona", "Tan lejos, tan cerca". The filmmakers of this movies are Julio Medem (spanish nacionality), Saverio Constanzo (italian), Mona Achache (french), Ingmar Bergman (swedish), and Wim Wenders (german), respectively.  Yesterday I wanted to watch a movie called "La fille sur le point", but I get out of my house, so I didn't seen it yet. I think this site is so much better than Netflix.
Other use that I give to this website is to listen music (like the common of people do).
Well, I have ready the 200 words, so I think Ive done it for today.

"Dont you think I undestand?. The hopeless dream of being. Not to look like, BEING. Conscious on every moment, watchful. At the same time, the abyss between you are for the others and for yourself, that feeling of dizziness and constant wish of, at least, be exposed, analized, dissected, even annihilated. Every word a lie, every gesture a falsehood, every smile a grimace. ¨To kill yoursel?¨ Oh, no, yo wouldtn do that. [...]". Persona, 1966. Bergman, I. -

Memrise

How would you describe the app to a friend?
Hi! i was knowing an app for study English on a funny way. It calls Memrise, and the courses that are in this app are really didactic. And not just english, you can try with many others languages, like French, Spanish, Japanese, German or Italian, between others. You can try with it and then told me how it seems to you.

What did you deduce about the methodology?
I think that is very didactic, because you are like "playing" with the apps, it doesnt seems like you are studying.

Did you enjoy using the app?
I enjoyed using the app, i think its dinamic and easy to use.

Wich courses did you choose?
I choose two courses:
-Practise your listening (Actions, Emotions)
-English expressions

Do you think is an usefull languaje tool?
Of course it is, in fact i think im going to use it for practise French.

A place I like to go

Well, the place about i want to talk i dont know if it keeps existing. His name is (or was) "La Naranja". This is a coffee where i used to go when i was a child with my grandpa, and used to be on Providencia. Many times on summer/ winter vacations, or often saturdays, my  grandfather (i call him "dad") had to left for work (he was a "junior´s office"), and i always asked him for taked me with  him. A 90% i had a Yes by answer. I really enjoyed to go over central streets by his hand, got into banks (he always give me checks that dont had nothing wrote, and i full them of scratchs), and other places that i just remember like offices. When we finished the things of the day, he used to took me to La Naranja. He asked for a beer (a "pilsen") and an ice cream or juice for me.  I have great memories of those instances on that place; my dad use to make everything fun/interesting for me. When we went back on bus, we played counting how many "A", "N", or any other letter we can find on the signs into the bus; or other times we played i was the bus driver and i gave him a ticket price. He always kept the ticket for this play.
Well, i cant remember how older i was or how many times we left for his work together, and i dont know if this count for you like a "place i liked to go". But for me, it works.
Ps: i couldnt find an image of the place, so i draw it.

A piece of art: Eadward Muybridge

Edward James Muggeridge (what is his birth name) was an english photographer who was pioneer working on the capture of movement. On 1877, the state gaves him a plates assembly of a horse trot, and then he could make a set of continuous images which showed the amazing movement: The horse in motion.

His most appreciated instrument, which he invented on 1879, was the "zoopraxiscope". The play consists on inssert a plate (at left) over the machine (at right). Then, we have to make roll the plate, because the quickly serial of the images is the thing that gaves the effect of movement, and finally this one is proyected at backside.

I think it was an amazing invent, a kind of "art machine". I know this since the last year, by a music video that I found driving on internet (Youtube). When I saw the video, I felt lot of interest by the serial of female subject. I put replay many times, until I get down and read the key name: Eadweard J. Muybridgde. I searched it and found it. Nice. Looking a little bit more, I could know other instrument, the "zootrope". You can search it if you want.

I think that the more that I like about this type of work was the analogous way, what requires more deddication at the moment of make a piece of art.

Here I left the music video that I talked to you. Hope u like it.

A geographical feature: Zhangye Danxia

Hello bloggers, today is...i'm going to talk about... (drumroll...) a piece of art!. Yes, i know that this is the topic of the next homework, but i think that this one treats about it too. Have you heard about Zhangye Danxia? Well, this is one of the most beautiful landscapes of China, on the Gansu's province; a geological formation (a gift of the plate tectonical plus the erosion and climate factors) that exhibes marvelous colors under the sunlight. It have a lot of stratums on parallel, that shape many hills, cliffs and valleys. On this place the rain is scant (so, for this reason is the erosion). This landscape has been taking shape since 24 million years ago, and actually shows like a really beautiful monument. By the way, since 2010 Zhangye Danxia is considered as one of the World Heritage Sites, by UNESCO.
I know this place (just on photos) since i was 12 years old or less. I think that i was driving on internet and PUFF! there it was, making me feel wonder.
I can remember that when I had Facebook, a couple years ago, i put this as a cover picture, and i put on the description: "I would like to have a stronger bike that hold on until China".
Here is a picture of the place...
I hope I can see it someday and walk for its nooks

Postdate: there are so many photos on internet that shows the hills with intense colours...i dont like those, because i think it isnt real jajaj the pic upside is more authentic (I suposse).

Second postdate: the first shadow its me, taking the photo! (ok, no)

My best friend at school

Hi bloggers! today im going to talk about one of my bests friends. Her name is Constanza, we met at school, when we were students. We usually went to our homes after classes, for have lunch, watch movies, make funny videos (not for upload to the web, we like to keep those for us and explote laughing) and other stuffs. We were really good partners, and always together. When we grew up, we started to know other persons, and get out with theys to parties lot of weekends. I really liked to be with her, because she is a person with a good sense of humor, smart, and always with food. Yes, with food. The food that her mother brings to Constanza for the breaktimes were so yummy, and she shared it with me (or, in other cases, i stol it). We finished the school and kept on contact, but now i dont know so much about how is she. I think that propably the fact i dont have Facebook or Whatsapp represent a difficulty for the communication between us, but it isnt an impediment. Well, however, i think we will see us on future, and talk about how we were on past.

About Matahembra

This is a Matahembra´s video that i listen sometimes when i am riding on bike. The song's name is like the group makes them call: Matahembra. I think it gots a lot of conviction in the way she moves and sing. This one is just one of many songs i like of this musician duo. They are two young guys that live on Talagante, and played on different places of Santiago, Chile. (72 PALABRAS) I listen them since 2013,
